What is Surface Preparation?

Surface Preparation is the act of preparing the printing area on an object before it is printed. We use a special substance to prepare each and every product that requires it to insure that the ink we print onto it will stick.

Which objects do we surface prep? It's hard to tell, some products do while others don't. Stress Shapes always require surface preparation while only some metallic products need it. We need to see the object before we decide whether or not it requires preparation.

Surface Preparation is one of the most vital operations required to ensure the ink sticks to the product and in most cases when it isn't performed, the ink will just scratch off.
